| Aldershot
and Fleet RUFC is a young, dynamic, forward
looking and fast growing rugby club and
we are continually looking to develop and
grow with each passing season.. After an
incredible and historic first season in
Hampshire Division 1 A&F were unlucky
to drop back to Hampshire 2, but are looking
to make a quick return with a rebuilt squad
full of experience and confidence. We have
a thriving Juniors section, which has just
earned the coveted RFU Seal of Approval
and now has over 100 kids regularly training
at 10 am every Sunday morning at our training
ground at Aldershot Park. We also aspire
to building a ladies team some of whom train
alongside the seniors every Tuesday evening
from 7pm.
We are always looking for new players
of all abilities and experience to join
our club. Our training sessions are specifically
tailored to help each individual player
achieve his or her own personal potential.
Of course, just as important, is the social
aspect of the club. We hold regular events
throughout the year from Christmas parties
to quiz nights. We also have our very
own touch league, which can be played
by anyone of any age and experience and
takes place every summer between May and
July. The End of Season Tour is the highlight
of the year and always something to savor.
Take a look at our News section to find
out about last year's incredible tour.
Training sessions take place every Tuesday
and Thursday evening form 7pm at our training
ground at Aldershot Park on Guildford
Road, under our new permanent floodlights.
Why not come down and join us for a training
session, you will always receive a warm
welcome from both the coaches and the
players and it’s an excellent way
to gauge the standard we play at and join
in the fun. If you prefer you can always
meet us after training at the Aldershot
Cricket Club ( just next to the park)
after every training session from about
9pm onwards and on Saturdays after every
home match. Our catchment area includes
Farnham, Farnborough, Fleet, Aldershot,
Ash, Pirbright, Camberley, Frimley, Bagshot
and Mytchett.
Look forward to seeing you sometime soon.
