Hart Districts Premier Dance School.
L.A Dance Centre was founded in September
1994 by local sisters, Lynne MacRae and
Alison Walden. We are committed to providing
exciting, fun and up to date choreography
coupled with a modern and youthful approach
to teaching students of all levels and
ages. Classes are held in Babies Ballet,
Tap, Modern, Ballet, Street Jazz, Adult
Tap, Adult Street Jazz.
The school has attained a 100% exam success
rate,year on year, and we regularly showcase
a production at The Princes Hall Theatre.
This gives students an unrivalled opportunity
to perform at a professional venue in
front of an audience of several hundred.
All students are welcome to participate
in our productions. We only ask that they
take an enthusiastic and committed approach
to the rehearsal schedule which is an
absolute essential to ensure a polished
and professional show. Seen, quite rightly,
by many youngsters as just an enjoyable
hobby, many parents have recognised that
dance has helped their child gain in confidence;
develop poise, co-ordination and an appreciation
of music and rhythm; and has helped them
to understand the value of being a team
player.
We are welcoming new students of all
ages and abilities into our school every
week, and following the immediate success
of our Elvetham Heath branch and continued
requests from many local parents and students,
we have expanded our presence in the Fleet
area by recently opening our second branch
the new Dance Studio at Hart Leisure Centre.
